Roberto Santamaria comes from Havana and has quickly made a name for himself in Germany - as a percussionist, as a fusion musician and, above all, as an entertainer with strong improvisation skills who wins hearts. With his music and his laughter he exudes pure Caribbean attitude to life. He has lived in Tübingen since 2011 and loves the city and its people.

Salsa, merengue, bachata are also on the playlist, as are raggae, samba and cumbia - a journey through the dance styles of Cuba, the Caribbean and Latin America. Dance until your soles glow, ballamos hasta amanecer, is the motto. The repertoire includes hits by Santana and Bob Merley as well as “Despacito”. Let's funk, come to the Raggae Night, dance with romantic Boleros. Or be amazed when the band plays an Afro-Cuban rumba and pays homage to the African roots of the Caribbean island. Roberto Santamaria has music in his blood. The musician, who comes from the family of the late “Conga King” Mongo Santamaria, is a natural talent for entertainment and improvisation.

You can come along spontaneously - without prior registration and without a dance partner.

You can also just watch at first to get an impression.
